1. About the Beauty Directory
The Co Beauty Trade Beauty Directory is a free online directory designed to help clients discover beauty professionals and businesses operating in Australia.
The Directory is provided as a connection and discovery platform. Co Beauty Trade does not provide the beauty, hair, skincare, wellness or other services listed in individual profiles unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Independent Professionals
Each professional or business listed in the Directory operates independently and is responsible for its own services, qualifications, pricing, availability, policies and customer relationships.
The inclusion of a professional or business in the Directory does not constitute an endorsement, certification, recommendation or guarantee by Co Beauty Trade.
3. Services, Payments and Disputes
Any agreement to purchase or receive a service is made directly between the client and the relevant professional.
Co Beauty Trade does not:
- book appointments on behalf of listed professionals;
- set or collect their service fees;
- process payments for their services;
- determine their cancellation or refund policies;
- guarantee the quality, availability or outcome of their services; or
- act as a party to the service agreement between a professional and their client.
Accordingly, questions or disputes concerning services, prices, payments, deposits, cancellations, refunds, appointments, service quality or outcomes should be addressed directly with the relevant professional or business.
4. Information in Listings
We aim to provide useful and accurate information; however, information contained in individual listings may change.
Clients should confirm directly with the relevant professional:
- services offered;
- prices;
- availability;
- location;
- qualifications or credentials;
- booking conditions; and
- any other information relevant to their decision to engage the professional.
5. Free Service
The Beauty Directory is currently provided free of charge to listed professionals and directory users.
The absence of a listing fee does not create a guarantee, endorsement or commercial relationship between Co Beauty Trade and a listed professional.
6. Third-Party Links and Communications
Listings may contain links or contact information that allow users to communicate directly with third parties.
Once a user leaves the Co Beauty Trade website or communicates directly with a listed professional, that interaction is governed by the relevant third party’s own terms, policies and practices.
7. Removal or Modification of Listings
Co Beauty Trade reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to correct, modify, suspend or remove a listing where information is inaccurate, misleading, outdated, inappropriate or otherwise inconsistent with the purpose of the Directory.
8. No Guarantee of Results
Listing a business does not guarantee enquiries, bookings, customers, revenue, search rankings or any particular commercial result.
9. Limitation of Role
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Co Beauty Trade’s role is limited to providing the Directory as a platform for discovery and connection.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
